Stewardship Update

On January 20, 2005, Father Gary Padgett sent this letter to parishioners regarding the efforts the parish is making in response to the decision to remain a full stewardship parish.

Full Stewardship for 2005-2006

On December 30, 2004, parishioners met with Father Gary to discuss the transition from full stewardship to tuition to fund the school. At that time, it was agreed that two ad hoc committees be formed: one to look at expenses, and one to look at stewardship (revenues). After numerous meetings and prayerful consideration, Father Gary has agreed to fund the school through full stewardship for the coming school year (2005-2006).

For the parish and the school to thrive, it will require increased stewardship coupled with meaningful and effective expense controls. We are seeking to immediately increase our cash reserves from all parishioners.
