CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2020 REGIONAL GOVERNOR’S CUP TEAM!!!
Team Members are: Ian Beierle, Samantha Bowling, Colin Dwyer, Teddy Marx, Madison Wagner and Will Yorgy
We are so proud of these students!! The time and commitment they have given to the team has been amazing!!
Even though our Quick Recall team lost in 2 matches and not everyone who took a written assessment will advance to State, EVERYONE should be very proud!
CONGRATULATIONS to Will Yorgy & Samantha Bowling who will be advancing to STATE!!
Samantha Bowling in Language Arts
Will Yorgy in Science AND Social Studies
Many, many thanks to Danny Monaghan and Erin Raque who served as QR officials all day on Saturday!
We had 14 teams in our Region. We tied for 5th place overall. We had only 6 students entered in written assessments and QR. The teams that finished ahead of us and the team we tied with all earned points from QR, Composition, and Future Problem Solving- we earned no points in these areas. In other words, our 6 students competed at an unbelievably high level with some teams that I’m sure we’ll see place in State.
VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD PROGRAM
We are currently seeking teachers and assistants for our Children’s Liturgy of the Word program on Sundays at 10:30 AM. We believe it is important that we create meaningful experiences for our young children that allow them to understand the message from the Bible and establish and grow a deep relationship with our Lord. We have adapted our curriculum to create meaningful experiences and are looking for eager adults to become great teachers with the children as well as middle and high school students to serve as assistants for the teachers. We provide all materials and training, although very open to suggestions. We have two age groups, 3-year olds through kindergarten (All Stars) and 1st grade through 3rd grade (Time Travelers). Children are dismissed from Mass during the Liturgy of the Word and return for the Liturgy of the Eucharist (about 20 minutes).

BOX TOPS COLLECTION
Our goal is to raise $2,000+ in FREE money for our school! Ask family, friends, and neighbors to download Box Tops for you!The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way we can earn cash for our school!
Over the summer, participating brands have begun to change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.
Going forward, instead of clipping from packages and checking expiration dates, all Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt. The Box Tops for Education team has worked hard to build a NEW-and-improved, user-friendly Box Tops mobile app, available now.
The new app features state-of-the-art technology that allows you to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to our school’s earnings online.
If you still have traditional Box Tops clips at home, make sure to send them to school. We will still earn cash for all clipped Box Tops until they expire. Better yet, you can “double dip” during the packaging transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt containing
participating products.
Please download the app and follow the instructions for setting up an account and finding our school. All you have to do is scan your receipt within 14 days of purchasing participating products, and our school earns $.10 for every box top clipped!

REMINDER
Student’s who are absent should be phoned in or emailed to Ms. Thomas by 8:30am. There is a 24 hour message system for you to phone in absences, 451-2535 ext. 22.
Also, it is very important that your child/ren arrive at school on time daily! Students should be in their class and chair by 7:55am. If your child is late, you must come in to sign them in. Thank you!
