CONGRATULATIONS
Kayla Lancaster, Ascension Class of 2018, and currently a student at Bethlehem High School, has been accepted into the Gatton Academy. This is a Nationally ranked residential STEM school at WKU. Kayla will have a unique opportunity to live on campus as a Junior and Senior in high school and take all college level classes. She will basically be a college student 2 years early graduating with at least 60 college credit hours from WKU. It is a very tough school to get into and they only take 95 students a year. Due to her academics/application, ACT score, and interview, she was one of the top 95. Way to go Kayla!

Bible Timeline Bible Study meets Wednesday, March 11, 6:30pm in the Adult Meeting Room. It’s not too late to join.
ASCEND (Adoration, Praise, Silence, Confession) on Friday, March 13 at 7pm in Church followed by Fellowship in the Adult Meeting Room at 8pm.

FREE WORKSHOP – “WHAT PARENTS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT READING”

He will present an overview of the reading process and what it takes to become a confident reader. He will also discuss the most common areas that can cause difficulties.

BOX TOPS COLLECTION
Our goal is to raise $2,000+ in FREE money for our school! Ask family, friends, and neighbors to download Box Tops for you!The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way we can earn cash for our school!
Over the summer, participating brands have begun to change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.
Going forward, instead of clipping from packages and checking expiration dates, all Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt. The Box Tops for Education team has worked hard to build a NEW-and-improved, user-friendly Box Tops mobile app, available now.
The new app features state-of-the-art technology that allows you to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to our school’s earnings online.
If you still have traditional Box Tops clips at home, make sure to send them to school. We will still earn cash for all clipped Box Tops until they expire. Better yet, you can “double dip” during the packaging transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt containing
participating products.
Please download the app and follow the instructions for setting up an account and finding our school. All you have to do is scan your receipt within 14 days of purchasing participating products, and our school earns $.10 for every box top clipped!
REMINDER
Student’s who are absent should be phoned in or emailed to Ms. Thomas by 8:30am. There is a 24 hour message system for you to phone in absences, 451-2535 ext. 22.
Also, it is very important that your child/ren arrive at school on time daily! Students should be in their class and chair by 7:55am. If your child is late, you must come in to sign them in. Thank you!
