ASCENSION FESTIVAL CHAIRS NEEDED

It’s time to start searching for Festival Chairs. I have created a sign up and sent it out to some of our past Chairs and let them know that we would start sharing this with the community next weekend.

There was a set of ear buds found at the fish fry. If they belong to you, you can pick them up in the school office.
EASTER EGG HUNT
Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday following the 10:30AM Mass! Please join us for worship on Easter Sunday. We will be having our Easter Egg hunt following the 10:30AM Mass. There will be an egg hunt designed for children ages 3 and under, 4-7, 8-10, and Easter family bags for $5 suggested donation. Please bring your own Easter basket to the hunt to be blessed! For poor weather, we will move the egg hunt to the following Sunday, April 24th.
Help for Easter Egg Hunt: Students and families are needed to stuff Easter eggs and hide them! We will stuff eggs with treats on Sunday, April 10th between the Masses, and set up the egg hunts in the Ascension fields from 1PM-2PM on Saturday, April 16th. Please sign to stuff eggs, stuff eggs and/or to set up the field, set up the field.. Opportunities can be counted for service hours.

1. PTO is planning for Teacher Appreciation week! We are asking each class to donate the following items:
a. 3’s, JK, TK- $5 scratch offs
b. K. 1st, 2nd- airplane bottles of liquor or wine
c. 3rd, 4th & 5th- $5 gift cards to Heine Brothers or Starbucks
d. 6th & 7th – $5 Kroger gift cards
e. 8th- movie candy and Paper Mate Flair Pens

2. Box Tops- We are trying a new process for Box Tops! Please send your grocery receipts to school in an envelope marked ATTN PTO for us to upload for you!
3. We are seeking new board members and new event chairs for next school year! If you are interested in serving as a board member or chairing a PTO event, please email ptoascension@gmail.com.

Did you know that Ascension is a Box Tops school? During this challenging time, our teachers and students need more help than ever. No matter what school looks like, Box Tops for Education is a fast and easy way for you to help out from home.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Buy participating products and use the Box Tops mobile app to scan your store receipt. The app identifies eligible products and automatically adds Box Tops to your school’s earnings online. Even if you’re shopping online or doing grocery pickup, you can still submit your e-receipts and earn Box Tops. Twice a year, our school gets a check!
The PTO uses money earned from Box Tops to fund our iPad program and other classroom needs for our students!

REMINDER
Student’s who are absent should be phoned in or emailed to Ms. Thomas by 8:15am. There is a 24 hour message system for you to phone in absences, 451-2535 ext. 22.
Also, it is very important that your child/ren arrive at school on time daily! Students should be in their class and chair by 7:55am. If your child is late, you must come in to sign them in. Thank you!
